Good day to you all.

Well yesterday didn’t go too well, so I’ll try to make amends today!!

Only the four games on today at Lakeside and they all look very tough matches. My first pick is Stephen Bunting. I’ve known him since I was 14, he is a top lad and I like to say a good friend. We have been in and out of contact with everything going on. He is one of the in-form players at the moment, just the odd lapse in concentration from time to time, but he has shaken that off now and is becoming a solid pro. I haven’t seen much of Brian, only at Lakeside, but it should be a good game, and the bullet will take it for me 3-1.

Scott Waites needs no introduction as it has been his best year yet but Ted has been playing some good darts too. It’s a “flip ‘em” again here, a toughie, but with form and confidence and true Yorkshire grit I’m going for Scott 3-2, maybe in a tiebreaker.

Robbie Green is an England international so a good player. He’s a veteran of both codes so knows what average he should be playing. Andy Boulton is again someone I’ve not seen much, it’ll be interesting to watch, Robbie gets the nod 3-1.

Dean had a nightmare at the Winmau, and when I was in Czech Scott Waites was in the same form as he was at the Grandslam (Czech could have been his warm up). Martin Atkins is another nice chap on the circuit, it’s tough to pick but I’ll go for my stable mate, Dean 3-2.

Brian Woods (11) (England) v Stephen Bunting (England)
Scott Waites (6) (England) v Ted Hankey (England)
Robbie Green (14) (England) v Andy Boulton (Scotland)
Dean Winstanley (3) (England) v Martin Atkins (England)

So there are my picks for today, let’s see how I fair.

Happy Viewing

May the darts be with you!!!
