Inspired by our favourite sports blog written by Matt Briggs for The Sporting Life called The Numbers Game, we put the past 14 weeks of Premier League in to numbers!

14 weeks of The Premier League have been completed and with finals night on the horizon we take a look at the stats so far!

Working hard for their money!

In total 22,523 darts were thrown which scored a massive 723,297 points!

Who did the leg work?

The Hammer played the most legs, 175, closely followed by Jackpot, 173. The Warrior and The Flying Scotsman played the fewest, 98 each! Every player hit a best leg of 12 darts or fewer, 4 of them hitting 10 darters!

Take me out

There were two170 checkouts, The Machine and Jackpot! The Hammer hit the only score of Madhouse, double 1!

Practice makes perfect!

There were 782 checkouts in total! Guess how many were over 100?

No wrong - just 98 or just over 12%!

Does that make you think about how you should be practising your checkouts? It should!

501 checkouts or a huge 64% of checkouts were 60 or fewer! And these are the best players on the planet! Does that now make you think about how you should be practising your checkouts?

3 in a bed!

Mighty Mike hit the most 180’s, he hit 53 of the 413 One hunnnndred and eighty scores! It takes Russ Bray 3 seconds to call his trademark 180!

It would take him just over 20 minutes to call all 413 of them!

What else do you want to know?

1912 scores of 100+ and 1097 of 140+.Top ton tickler was Taylor, he hit 249. MVG topped the 140 standings, hitting 149!

All pretty average then?

The Power has the highest average taken over all 14 games! 100.08, Mighty Mike was not too far behind, 99.54.

The Premier League Finals night is on Thursday 16 May 2013 at the 02 in London!
