Vision 360 Dartboard Lighting System Review

We gave the new Target Vision 360 Lighting System a test drive in our coaching room recently. The light ring comes with all the bits you need (you need your own board and fixing kit in place) to assemble it and get it running immediately.

The instructions are easy to follow and should take you around 10-15 minutes to set it up. Please do check out our video below for more info on this.

Once you have done your dartboard DIY you are ready to fire up the light ring. My first impression was “WOW”. The lighting was perfect, no shadows and visually stunning.

One player has asked if I thought that the ring would put players off. I actually found the opposite (as did the player that asked the question who came in the next day and had a look). He described the effect you get as looking like one of those cones that dog owners put around their dogs to stop them biting other dogs. It is a good description.

You do get a tunnel effect which I found actually helped in focusing in on the board and the ring was forgotten instantly. You really would have to be way off the board to hit it! My other thoughts from a player improvement angle was emphasising what a crucial part the eyes play in playing better darts. I would argue that with the clarity offered by the Vision 360 unit, this will help you in focusing in on your target (excuse the pun).

So if you are looking for an edge to improve, if lighting is an issue where you play then this is a must and anyone out there with a darting man cave then you do need one of these to finish the look.

They are priced just under £100, yes it is a lot of money but well worth it in my opinion.

You can get a Vision 360 Dartboard Lighting System from the Darts Performance Centre shop.
